These metal fittings have been developed specifically for hammocks. You can screw the eyebolt firmly into wooden ceilings. For concrete ceilings pierce a hole with a drill and fix the screw in an appropriate anchor. If you hang the hammock to a chair frame just use the hook, the eye bolt is not necessary. The 2 large carabiners hooks keep the spring in place.
